yeah my cat is like that too officegirl, i know for a fact he wont play with all the little fluffy things in the stockings but will go mad and kill the tinsel bow i put on it, i still couldnt leave him out tho, and my kids are getting out of that stage where they play with the wrapping and box instead of the prezzies so someone still has to have that job :D its our Murphys ( the rotty) first christmas and knowing him he will eat the wrapping aswell as the prezzy :hihi: , we have to unwarap our Storms ( the akita) for her cos she just dunt seem interested

Of course we do! We started our xmas shopping this week, and so far we have got the cat two wind up rats which he has opened early and enjoys playing with. For his santa stocking, so far we have got him a new dinner set, some festive cat-nit treats, and a remote controlled mouse. We've also got him a special cat advent calendar which he has to open before he is allowed his breakfast. Some people seem to think we spoil our cat, but I disagree lol.

Just remembered, we've also ordered him a special rustly tunnel thing off ebay, and a radiator bed.

Haha, we're just the same, I think my cats are the most spoilt in our family!

They have their own Christmas dinner too- I cook them pate out of the turkey giblets and it has prawns as a garnish, but they only have a little bit as a treat or they get upset stomachs, and that's not very nice for any of us.

Their present this year is likely to be a nice new climbing frame.

Last year I got a ball (we already had in the house) & wrapped it up for my cat (& then unwrapped it again for her), hehe (I don't mind, I love wrapping & unwrapping presents!). Dunno what I'll do this year, we've got a rabbit now as well.

Edit: I also wrote a christmas card out for my cat last year.

Problem solved ... wrap up the rabbit for the cat... I'm sure she would love it!

I used to get my dog something every year but unfortunatley she died four years ago.

My partners parents dogs absolutely love getting presents at christmas. They love opening them.

Our two cats have their own stockings, red furry ones with gold fishes round the top:blush:

This was started when my daughter was 6 (she's now 13) and she kept it going. She wraps them treats and pops them in the stockings on Christmas Eve. We have to hide them though 'cos the cats smell the treats and start swinging from the stockings:lol:

Our German Shephard gets Christmas presents. But what's with this buying lark - doesn't Father Christmas bring them?

I always buy something for my two Jack Russells, Bing and Gidget. I usually just get them something edible now... one year, I got Bing a doggie turtleneck sweater and the yarn or the dye made all the hair on his neck fall out. He looked pitiful. I felt guilty.

Also, my sister's cats, Ray and Lovecraft, usually exchange gifts with their canine cousins.

Yeah my Dogs are my boys! Why shouldn't i spoil them? They protect my house for what? A meal. They'd also protect me and my GF with their lives (more so my GF). They are extremly friendly, but because of there inteligence (Husky's are a very inteligent breed of dog), they can suss out a siituation real easy.

LOL as they are Huskies, they will even provide me transport when this bad weather eventually hits :hihi: :D
