some little idiots have spray painted my car overnight. its gonna cost me quite a bit to get it resprayed which is summat i cant afford!!
i have never had trouble here for the 3years i have lived here and now this.
if anypone else on here has had anything done in last wekk can you pm me as my neighbour had stones thrown at his window few days ago and the police think its the same gang,
thanks
which part of parson cross are you in
i am near to the margetson shops...
i havenever had any problems before and am really p***ed of this has happend :(
Acts of vandalism like this are soul destroying,I had my car scratched from front to rear,I have a good idea who did it but cannot prove it was them.I would like to change my car and am fortunate in being able to purchase a new one but what would be the point wondering if it was going to be vandalised.ou have my sympathy and hope you can pin the culprits down.
i presume they used aerosol paint,it usually goes on fairly thin and could probably be taken off by yourself, a good quality cutting polish should remove it (some elbow grease required tho').
t-cut or similar can be used, but i think you're better leaving the paint to harden for a few days so that it can't react with the amonia that is in it.have these morons completely covered the car or have they done writing etc, as it probably will take less time to get off if not completely covered.
regards,john.
btw, it would be easier if you know someone that could lend you a polisher/buffer-but be careful to keep it moving as it will burn the paint quickly if left in one spot.
actually,i don't think it would be too expensive to have it removed/polished professionally,my brother paints cars vans bikes etc for a living,i'll ask him what sort of price you can expect to pay.
i wouldn't have thought you would have to go to the expense of having it repainted as your original paint is still all there with this fresh paint just sitting on it,it will just need abrading off.

thanks for your reply..
someone i know has mentioned t-cut and he has some so is going to have a go for me, i got almost all the paint off the windows ( gave up due to rain!) i think i can get it sorted its just so stressful knwing that little idiots can do this. i was lucky it was just 2 letters on the rear passenger window. if they had written all over it i would probably have been banned from forum for the language i would have used!!!
thanks for the replys :D
really glad to hear it's getting fixed:clap:
john.
Yup Savvy, my dads old car was destroyed by 2 little plebs who used it as a trampoline, was declared a write off by the Insurance company, they even had the nerve to carry on even when my parents were watching from the bedroom window.
The Police did sod all about it. I sat there for 7/8 hours in my car in the freezing cold watching both the house and car from a distance, unfortunately as I knew who it was and they know who I am and my car they came no where near the house for a few days afterwards.
I believe I restrained myself pretty well
