the main thing you need to think about when buying a laptop..
What are you going to use it for???
I agree with Ghozer, the spec depends on what you are planning to do with it!
However I think Toshiba's are great! My old laptop was a Toshiba and I dropped it a few times and stomped on it etc and it was perfect.
My new laptop is a Toshiba as well although quite a hefty one compared to the one you pasted.
That spec is pretty decent. Would prefer a different processor. Celeron is the poor relation in the Intel family. Depends what you need it for too, not many people would need a gig of memory in a laptop.
That doesn't seem like a bad deal. Lots of people slate the Dixons group, but the big thing they have going for them as opposed to the various online outlets is that if there's a problem with it, you can take it back to them and see a human, to some people that's worth the extra few quid.
As far as the spec goes, it seems pretty good. A gig of RAM will see you through most tasks, and I wouldn't worry about the processor being a Celeron as opposed to a Pentium 4 - the chances of noticing the difference in everyday tasks is small.

Wouldn't consider any laptop or desktop with a celeron pro
Have you looked in Staples....usually have some good prices on laptops.....plus if you are not happy youv'e got 14 days in which you can return it. :)
thanks for all the advice.
