Depends what you want...

If you want a pub meal, then Aunt Sallys. Its 2 for one and its a great place

If you ant a family restaurant, try Frankie and Bennies in the Centertainment. They do great food, and play excellent music.

For an Indian try Sahib, down west street... but be warned they dont have a no smoking area!

BBs for an italian on Division street. Its a great place, small but really friendly. You get loads for your money too... and its bring your own bottle... so its cheap for your 'first' night of alcohol!

Happy 18th anyway... and where ever you go... have a great night!

There are many places in Sheffield or nearby that do good food.

The Dore Moor Inn near Dore do good food, as do the Admiral Rodney at Loxely. If you want to spend more there is the Amega (I think that is how you spell it). I don't know if they cater for small groups though. There are also lots of good food pubs in Derbyshire.

Wherever you go have a great time.

Cheers

Personally I found it awful - Old Orleans or TGI Fridays down the road are far better.

I'm assuming when you say family you mean parents and if that's the case then I wouldn't recommend Champs. Far too noisy and even worse if there's a family with noisy kids there.

If you're anywhere near Crookes then Trattoria Sorrento is a good bet with byo keeping the price down.

Alternatively, any of the Wetherspoons pubs have non-smoking areas with reasonably priced food.

If your parents are paying then try The Cavendish out near Bakewell.
