as you pass the 2 speed camera's on the dual carrage section, heading into town, there is a green camera on the lights, this is to trap those running a red.

Not seen any others though not been up there since last weekend.

no i know the ones near the lights and the speed trap its not those these are small ones situated on posts as you travel down they are on the left and high up so this along with their size makes them difficult to spot

Whereabouts on halifax rd, just out of curiosity (I'm just thinking of the cameras there are on there already)?

A61 Halifax Road, near the pelican crossing adjacent to Chaucer School, junction of Chaucer Road and Wilcox Road. (Near to that caravan protesting about phone masts.)

N.B. Don't drive without insurance, MOT or tax. Insurance companies and MOT stations are becoming computer linked to DVLA. Through a matter of elimination, the camera computer will know every untaxed, untested and uninsured vehicle on the road.

They have just installed 2 more, just before the lights at the scotland street junction.
Im told they are to monitor traffic flow (yeh right) they were being installed by streetforce.
One camera points to each lane of the road.

Am I the only one who's noticed that the lights at Doe Royd Lane have recently and suddenly started changing with alarming frequency and for no particular reason, i.e., no traffic coming off Doe Royd? I thought that set were genuinely ones which only changed if someone wanted to get off Doe Royd - then at the crack of dawn one Sunday morning back in September, I came trundling up round the corner and they were *gasp* on RED! It's no coincidence of course that they have a camera on them coming the other way :heyhey: Just wondered.
