Dunno mate,

I suspect nothing has changed though. You still avoid the big tree like the plague, unless you are out to fight :suspect:

Woodseats Palace probably still has fit birds drinking there till about 9pm, then they dissappear into town :|

The Woodseats, ummm.. unless you like loud mouthed skin heads and karaoke, aint really worth it!

The Chantrey - flat cap and slippers anyone? :suspect: the beers crap too :|

Hope this helps :D

Weatherspoons is ok to have one or two in but it gets boring with there been no music on or anything.

I am a regular drinker in woodseats. Although I have been away and haven't been out there since the new hours have been introduced.
I am waiting with very great interest to see what is going to happen.

I am also guilty of being a binge drinker. Often stuffing 6+ pints into a couple of hours. The first pint often only lasting about 5 or 10 minutes.

I am a regular visitor abroad and find the atmosphere in other big european cities much more convivial to a night out. Because there is a comfortable table to sit at and often a waiter service. I am hoping that a much more spread out and less focussed drinking period {mainly 9 to 11pm as it was} will soften the need to feel "served" all the time and rush to the bar before a crowd comes.

I am sure that most of the pubs in woodseats will be better for longer and more relaxed hours.
I also feel it is as important for pubs to be available for those who wish to talk rather than listen to loud music or football all night, and I usually find this kind of thing in Weatherspoons.
