Has anyone else noticed the smell coming from the Botanical Gardens - I was down there on Saturday night and it was awful. We thought it was, perhaps, rotting manure or something? Not very pleasant anyway!

I walked through there on Friday - my walk got quicker as I progressed! I think all the flower beds have got a liberal covering of manure. it proper put me off my beef and onion crisps!

sure it'll all be worth it come the summer though

I live on Thompson Road so have had to put up with it for a while. I walked throught it on Saturday and asked one of the guys working there. It is Pig Manure which certainly has it's very own smell. They are getting it ready for the Spring/Summer
