What do people think of Sheffield as a night out? Does anyone know any good routes/areas that they can recommend? Anybody got any areas/routes that should be avoided???

You should try the Common Room - really good atmosphere, American pool tables and good food - no entrance charges either!

yeah, common room my favourite place at the moment, am addicted to pool though, and i love the tables in there.
other than that, i like the older pubs, like the grapes for example.

Yes i have tried it, a nice little bar. Plays some good music too! Just the kind of place we need at the moment.
