FOXHILL TARA is now 30yrs old and looking for new members. It Represents tenants and residents in the Foxhill area and provides community activities.
The next meeting will be held at 32 Powley Road Foxhill Sheffield on the 26th of may at 7pm.

TARA's seem to have an age stigma about them. Mention joining the TARA to anyone under 50 and they look at you gone out.

Sending out mail drops can be a total waste of time if not backed up with a friendly face. Perhaps the only way to make the TARA known as a valid community representative is to wear out some shoe leather, and visit door to door asking people to attend, and perhaps find out why the had previously not considered it?

I attended my 1st Tara meeting last week and was shocked at the lack of interest by the local Foxhill community.Thanks for your input retrogo I will take your comments on board and buy a good pair of walking boots :-)
