The Three Cakes Challenge is a 3 mile stroll with The Friends of the Peak District to celebrate the 60th anniversary of our first national park!
This event is perfect for those with young children and who want to get out into the open and have some fun.
The walk starts at 10.45 at Thornbridge Hall near Great Longstone with a piece of cake, followed by a mile and a half walk along the Monsal Trail to Hassop Station Café for more cake, and then back to Thornbridge Hall for a final slice to celebrate at the Peak District’s birthday party. The event is kindly sponsored by Hassop Café and there will be ice cream available from Hope Valley Ice Cream.
What’s more, former Blue Peter present Simon Groom will be welcoming back exhausted walkers and handing out certificates to celebrate your efforts.
Entry costs £5 per person (or under 5's free).
