Me and my mum have had my sisters 2 kids over night and deserve a nice meal so said we're going to go out for once. Does anyone know anywhere nice that serve food today... preferably Sunday roast and what have yer.
Any suggestions welcome... we're desperate!!!

Toby Carvery (old Weatsheaf) at Park Head (Whirlow) on Ecclesall Road South serves Sunday roast ALL day and it's lovely.

Nice friendly relaxed pub with nice food and drink.

Am on the Manor Park but willing to travel anywhere.

Don't know round there.

If you really want a treat why not head up the A57 towards Glossop and stop at one of the country pubs? You wont have to travel far - that's part of the wonder that is Sheffield. There's a great one overlooking the reservoir, can't remeber its name though.

This is making me hungry. Can I come with you? :)

Well if you fancy spending an afternoon with me and my mum then yes!!

I'd really love to go to one of those country pubs but I've only being driving a year and a bit and don't fancy going that far without someone who knows where they're going!! Mum's being driving 8 years but still isn't confident enough driving up the road, never mind Glossop!! lol.
At the minute it looks like the Walkley Cottage :(

you really ought to try the Riverside Pub near Ladys Bridge its fab and dinners only £4.25 each

Hate to be pedantic but Parkhead is Ecclesall not Whirlow. Infact its probably an area in its own right.

If you can stand slow service, the Red Lion at Grenoside does good grub.

Try the Chequers at Coal Aston, sunday lunch fab, and all day every day 2 for 1.
