Does any member have an allergy to peanuts ? just read where a girl with that allergy died after kissing her boyfriend who had just eaten some crackers with peanut butter.

Must be awful having to be careful of everything you eat andhaving to read the ingredients on everything you buy.

My sympathies go out to anyone who suffers from this infliction. I love peanuts!

Statistics show that more people die from peanut allergies than Ecstacy allergies!!! It doesn't get the publicity it desreves! the peanut bit that is!

I had a tutor who had a peanut allergy. He was off work one day due to an allergic reaction following a shopping trip to B&Q. He returned to college with half his face inflated like a balloon, and barely able to see out of one eye.

Somebody had obviously handled something on the shelves after eating something peanutty, perhaps a Snickers, and he'd picked up the same item later.

Scary stuff :shocked:
