I keep hearing this song and I really like it but haven't a clue who sings it.

All I can say is there is a chorus bit that says :

Teslas version was a cover. It was originally done in the 70s by a band called the Five Man Electrical Band. Fatboy Slim also sampled it, but I cant remember the name of the track he used it on. Teslas version was, if I remember, on an album called 5 man acoustical jam. Their other stuff wasnt bad (in an early 90s rock kind of way). Look for an album called Psychotic Supper, that was pretty good.
