ive deleted something by mistake,when i turn on the computer i get a message saying summat about new hardware found for my audio somthin or other please insert installatin disc.......i aint got a disc:|

more details needed. what motherboard??
it sounds like you deleted the drivers.

you can download them from the web. if its onboard sound it will probably be via or nforce sound drivers.

give as much info as you can.

If your using Windows XP, try using the System Restore feature to roll your stuff back to an earlier time.. Might work.

If your using Windows 98, I believe your installation disc will be on your hard drive within your .cab files but its been so long since I used 98, I can't remember how to do it.

you need to find out what type your soundcard is........or motherboard if its onboard sound, then find the manufacturers website and download a driver for it
