Continuing the March madness at Shuffle on Saturday the 19th we bring you someone who played live at Plug not long ago and brought the house down. A man who not only fronts one of the best indie bands of our time but has also forged a career as a very successful solo artist (not many can say they've ever done that properly) We are very pleased, delighted and somewhat excited to bring you KELE.
As lead singer of Bloc Party his unique voice has been heard on many an indie club anthem. When he decided to branch out as a solo artist many immediately wrote him off, when it became apparent that musically he was branching out into a more club friendly electro sound everyone wrote him off. Wrong! KELE has gone on to great things as a one man project, three massive singles have propelled him from the indie dancefloors to the club dancefloors. The huge top 10 smash Tenderoni kicked it all off, followed by Everything You Wanted and On The Lam. Throw in some quite frankly HUGE remixes of all three and you can guarantee that everyone at Shuffle has been dancing to something of his at some point. Tonight we welcome him into the DJ booth for a banging session of electro, no doubt he'll be road testing some new gear as well as dropping some classics. Get your dancing shoes on.
Live - It’s FLOORFILLERS bringing its Saturday night magic into the Shuffle for more weekend escapism.
Ollie Hayes (Hallam FM) and LJ Freeman needs no introduction - at Shuffle they will be dropping the biggest dance anthems selected from the best years of your life, mashed up to the bangers of now:
Tinie Tempah meets Rhianna, Katy B rubs up to Jessie J, whilst Cee Lo Green breaks down into Black Eyed Peas, Taio Cruz, Guru Josh and Faithless
Earth - In earth we have the rapidly expanding RnB sessions with Tom Lee & Lee Da Truth Smith, expect everything from the old school vibes of Black Street and R Kelly to modern day grooves from Labyrinth to Gyptian to Nicki Minaj
