The Real Computer Shop on Ecclesall Road was used by my father in law recently and he was very pleased with them!

Depends what the problem is with the machine but I am sure they will have a look etc

They are VERY expensive and can take up to 2 weeks for repairs although they do offer a fast turnround service for an extra £20. There was a thread about a maintenance company on here somewhere which I saw within the past few days; it was very, very significantly cheaper and came well recommended.

Sorry I cant remember the company name or the thread name but am sure you can find it with a search which I'd do for you myself but am so tired I'm packing up now.

ARAVIND, what up with it? and what make and model?? might be able to help.

xsarx, you can't! some models will accomodate additional hardware, if its an Lifebook 8010 then you can get an additional video card module for it. Most others are not upgradeable. Drivers probably but hardware, nope.
What make and model is it?

I know a guy who works freelance repairing laptops. He used to temp for my workplace until we snapped him up. His laptop skills are amazing, we've saved hundreds, if not thousands in minor repairs that used to go back to the manufacturer.

He lives in Normanton Springs. PM me for his email addy.
