Hi there,

Me and 4 friends are coming to Sheffield for a concert in April on a Friday night and want to go out afterwards. Where is the best place to go for a few drinks - bearing in mind that we won't be done at the arena until 10:30pm but we want to make the most of the night. Probably going to be staying in the Novotel or the new Hotel Bristol.

There's a little quiet place open until 5am that you can sit in a quiet atmosphere and have a nice chat surrounded by friendly people. It's called Niche.

Yeah, Niche is the place to NOT frequent. I had one of the most God awful boring nights there. Where the hell are its' clientele drudged up from? When I went, it was post 2am so not booze, had to make do with some yucky Red Bull....but got offered whatever drugs I fancied!!!
