Driving home last night, and on Crowder Road there was an ambulance just pulling off, and two coppers interviews a couple of young lads at the gate into the park.
Anyone any idea what was going off?

As far as I'm concerned the police can 'snoot' around as much as they want as long as they're catching the scum, or stopping them prior to their next bit of crime. If these kids weren't on their way to offend, hard lines.

Something that seems have have been kept hush hush in Longley is the young guy in his 30s that chopped his own head off by a home made guilotone in his flat on the graves trust houses a few weeks ago.

Grousome or what.

Hi, can anyone shed more light on the alleged incident regarding the guy who chopped his head off, I am very suprised this wasn't given more coverage considering the nature of the incident.

The guy who walked with a limp and had a Jack Russel live in the top corner flat next to the post office and he was only found because of the constant scratching on the door by his dog.
He used a very sharp spade as the guilotine with a slab of concrete to put his head on.
The police found his head at the other side of the room and said the guy did a fine job of it.
It was not in the papers or TV which i find strange.

Maybe because it was murder rather than suicide?

What the papers don't print often tells you more than what they do...

No it was definetely suicide, the guy was in his early 30s i believe.
A friend who works at Ecclesfield cop station spoke to the police officer who was on the case.

I think it would be more likely to be reported on if was a murder, rather than a sucide?

Yep - just what I was thinking. The Sheffield Star usually leads with murder or assault cases.

Except when they've been given strict instructions not to...
