12inch Burst water main wooodseats road

Probably affecting everyone in the S8 area

Expected to be fixed 8am-8:30

This is affecting us and I live down next to Millhouses park, so it's affecting more than the woodseats area.

I was wondering why there was no water coming out of the sink in the bedroom earlier. The middle floor has water to the bathroom, but only just and the toilet's only just managing to flush. So I guess the higher up you are the less chance of water working.

Glad to see it's a problem on the outside though, won't cost me anything now :D

The water pressure problem was still occuring past 8.30 though.

Does anyone know if this is fixed now..

I spoke to them on the phone, water pressure will be back to normal later on this afternoon / tonight, as they have to build it all up again now.

And how many people have left their taps turned on accidentally?

Yeah they have no water at the school so have had to close for the day!!
