Transmission is at one of Sheffield's newest and brightest venues - The Earl on Queens Rd (opposite Halfords). There will be full transmission décor for the night including UV, smoke machine, lighting and banners. The Earl has had a very recent refit that includes leather sofas and plenty of seating along with a decent sized dancefloor. The owners have put a huge amount of effort into the sound system with speakers specially brought back all the way from Malaga and real valve amps! If you've not yet visited the Earl, Transmission is the night to check it out.

Transmission kicks off at 9 on Saturday. Its £2.50 on the door and all profits go to charity. This month its Amnesty. A night of quality music and dancing and all that entails.

Its on till late too! (By late I mean 3 am)

Expect to hear dub, hip-hop, DnB, breaks, house, techno, soul, funk, electronica, acid, disco and much more - if you can dance to it, they'll be playing it!

For more info and directions etc, check the website:
