Am i the only one that is not feeling safe walking alone around Crookes at night at the mo?

Maybe Im a bit stupid, but as a girl walking alone after dark I never used to feel threatened or anything, but now im looking over my shoulder every two seconds and try and get a taxi from door to door when I can.

Seems students are being targetted. A lot of muggings and burglaries in the past few weeks, but now it seems some random people are causing trouble.

My boyfriend got his cars wing mirror kicked in last night. Oh great, another £60 down the drain......it gets me so annoyed that people I know are having to pay for being victims of crime, urgh its so annoying!!

I don't know, but why can't your boyfriend walk you home? I know I wouldn't let my girlfriend walk home alone after dark, that's for sure.

Seems to me too many people in Sheffield have that "wing mirror" problem....are you sure it's not the service stations sending kids out to drum up some buisness ? :suspect:

Crookes and walkley at the minute are worse than gleadless and the manor.

So many crimes.

Can't say I've noticed much in Crookes, I bought a brand new car, parked outside, drunk students pass up and down the road all the time.. Not touched it..

I've had drunk people (don't necc want to accuse students) throw up down my car in Crookes before. Mmmm.:gag:
