View Full Version : Starsky and Hutch
For all you fans of the tv hit show Starsky and Hutch, well they're back. A new movie version is coming soon with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. Huggy Bear is played by Snoop Dog. The clips I've seen are hillarious. Hutch even sings "Don't give up on us baby" God I was in love with David Soul. I miss that show. Any other fans out there??
DaBouncer 19-02-2004, 07:40 So the new Starsky and Hutch movie is gonna be a comedy version of the original series?
Hmmm could be interesting. However I do wish they'd stop regurgitating old shows and movies.
Can't the hollywood writers think up some new stuff??
Ah well!
Agree with comment about movie clip - I love bit of them shooting at someones garage at the end and the hilarious consequences thereafter [wont give game away but if you have seen it you will know what I mean] :P

So, come on admit it, how many of you out there had the white / black knitted Starsky cardigan? Remember them? Everyone hip had one. Big and woolly and extemely fashionable.

DaBouncer 23-03-2004, 12:58 Watched the new movie the other day in the comfort of my armchair...not a bad movie all in all.
magicgem 23-03-2004, 13:55 grrrrr dont talk about it non of my friends will go and see it with me.....
.....ok the last film i wanted to see was cheaper by the dozen (when did steve martin not become cool?hahaha) and since then their peception of my taste has hit rock bottom.
I wouldn't mind seeing this. I think it's supposed to be in similar vein to Charlie's Angels. My mate's seen it and he says it's hilarious.
jackthedog 24-03-2004, 16:14 Saw it last night. Sort of disappointed in a way. Not as funny as it could've been. Entertaining, but seemed to lack a lot of the style they had at thier disposal.
Although the Torino makes one of the best entrances in movie history! Perfectly OTT!
I saw it yesterday too. I agree, it wasn't brilliant. I kept looking at my watch after half an hour or so. Snoop Dogg was great though.
Lickable 25-03-2004, 12:16 I loved it. really funny. I love the bit in prison with Will Ferall!
I thought the appearance at the end from the original Starsky and Hutch was a nice twist.
It had great potential to be something absolutely hilarious but fell way short..I do like Ben Stiller altho Owen Wilson gets on my t*ts abit...Must agree tho that the Torino entrance was pretty cool
qazitory 30-03-2004, 13:46 If anyone liked Zoolander, they will like the new film. It could have been better, but it's not a bad film.
Steve1974 30-03-2004, 14:57 I thought the 'dance off' scene with Harmar Superstar was very very funny. Pitty he wasnt involved more.
qazitory 30-03-2004, 22:59 Shame there was a 'dance off' in Zoolander!! Between Stiller and Owen. Bowie being the referee :)
WintersMist 05-04-2004, 09:00 I have seen it, and although there were places were I cackled like a witch, I still thought it was overated, like American Beauty.
