I have a super plate in porcelain, obviously a memento of Wm Roland, with a splendid picture of a shire horse and cart on the front, obviously belonging to Rowlands. The plate shows an address of 9 Meadow Road and it was made in 1980 to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Wm. Rowland.

Can anyone tell me anything about this plate or the company?

It's a super thing, made of bone china with a crown mark on the back. :)

Tell me more about this plate, who was the manufacturer, what warkings does it have on the back?

Wm Rowlands, still operate today, from the same place 9 meadows drive.

They specialise in metals and powder coating.
