Do you mean the one on London Road that used to be the Carribean restaurant?

It says that it is a Japanese Tapas bar, whatever on Earth's crust that is supposed to mean. Don't know when it opens, though.

Walking past last night it looked like it was very close to being ready. Didn't notice any sign with the date or anything though.

There was a menu though, sounds very good.

Tonight's Star says it's "due to open today".

Can anyone who is walking past it let me know the name & if poss the phone no of it.

I was hoping the website was going to have a menu, as soon as someone goes can they tell us about it - it looks fab.

Going to the No1 Oriental Buffet on Friday, not Japanese but at least there's noodles!

I've just popped in this afternoon & booked my group in & have to say it looks absolutely fab in there. We've booked a teppanyaki night which I can't wait for - sounds like it'll be great fun. They were really helpful & said they've been really busy their first 2 nights so if you want to go I suggest you book first.

do u know what time they open? do they open at lunch time? and do they do takeaways?

Not sure of the opening hours but they do takeaways at a 10% discount - I have the takeaway menu at home. I've not tried it yet though.
