Whenever I have started a thread on my dog or cat I get the hole 'dogs **** on the pavement' and 'dirty cats on worktops'.

Sheffield Forum is just that - about sheffield, general chat, entertainment, work etc.

Pet Talk is just that - about animals without getting the 'I hate animals' people.

Lets face it - people are far too addicted to leave SF for another - if they want to use another, they'll just make time for it. Really don't see what the problem is :rant:

However - if one of the mods or even Geoff himself would like to explain this to me - please feel free as I can't work it out :suspect:

I know I posted the link, but I do agree with you Lotti.

There is no other forum that anyone could post on here that would stop me from posting on Sheffield Forum. In fact I do post on other forums, theres nothing wrong in a bit of variety. Plus its not exactly like we are short of members, but I suppose rules are rules :(

Most forums don't allow it, usually because of money (from advertisers) and members. Don't want people to be taken away from the forum, although as you argued, the majority of members here, do stay and keep coming back.
