After the 'how do you do your tree' thread....got me thinking.

I have £77 quid that I am putting towards decorations (a nice little bit of compensation from my local council for the terrible inconvenience of fitting me a brand new central heating system)

I had originally planned to get a tree out the argos with trimmings and lights supplied. That would currently set me back £55 - just for pure convenience
But mum reckoned it would be cheaper to buy everything seperate.
Also i wanted to get some simple white lights for the window too.

So should I buy seperate or not?

I would buy seperate, and shop around. Wilkinsons have some nice decorations that are cheap, or try the supermarkets! :thumbsup:

GOLD?? I was just thinking some baco foil would do it...how did they make it gold???

I would shop around, apart from you may get a bargain - you will have more choice, rather than just what comes in te Argos package. If you want to risk leaving it until a week before Christmas, most places sell things at half price. Happy shopping. Ho Ho Ho.
