It was Birmingham, it wasn't the council, it was the shop assistants who complained it was driving them crazy.

Next non story, pleeeze.

In fact, why not just check on here for any more non stories as it's been done soooo many times already:

Let's ban Christmas and other non stories (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68968&highlight=christmas)

Typical....'I can't remember what council it was but'..or...'my dad's mates brothers next door neighbour works for the council and he said'...or 'the guy in the chippie read in the paper'..

Sorry kirky but normally its all ********! People complain about how eager the PC brigade are but then they jump on fake non stories like this and cling to them for dear life, tut tutting here and there and telling everyone they come across.

If they could ban any song, I'd definitely be in favour of banning that Slade song "so here it is Merry Christmas!"..

I was in a cafe this morning and they put some christmas songs on, and with the frost outside I started to feel quite festive,

Yep! If you dont like it, put your fingers in your ears!

Personally i think it is an Xmas classic and 'most' people tend to get into the spirit of things when it comes on.

Alphabet soup needs to be banned, it's blasphemy. We will soon have the power in numbers to force a local labour council to ban it, no fear brothers and sisters.
