Thanks to our wonderful sponsors at Sweatshop, Meadowhall, we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to join a weekly beginners running club on Monday evenings.

The training session is aimed at entry level/complete beginners to help you work towards your running goals and it's a perfect way to get race ready for ‘Run in the Park’ on the 10th July.

Runners of all abilities are invited to meet at The Source Gym near Meadowhall at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start. Changing/shower facilities are provided at free of charge by The Source Gym.

Please register with Sweatshop by calling 0845 2177 582 or emailing meadowhall@sweatshop.co.uk and remember to bring a friend too - we hope to see you there!

Hope I'm posting on the right thread here.

A number of the female class members will be joining this event (apparently I'm being made to take part - in a dress :help:) so if you are unattached to any groups and want to join this event, then feel free to join us.

The members who are doing the event so far, train at the Stannington Class on Thursday (see link in in signature). I will be putting the idea out to the other sessions, so there should be a few of us taking part + a hairy one in a dress

Just signed up for the 3k run. I am doing what will be my first ever 10k the following week at Rother valley for Testicular cancer however I live close by to Graves park so thought I would use this as my training run and to show my support.

anyone know the actual route for the 3k and 10k through the park?

NickDuggan
13-06-2011, 22:04
Well done for entering because the race is almost full. The 10K is two big laps taking in most of the park with the start and finish by the main pavilion by Derbyshire Lane. hilly but one of the best running routes in Sheffield
