Do you think they are guilty?

We don't exactly know what hard evidence there is or isn't. It's not really possible to have a fair trial anymore. The Media have already done a fine job of convicting them already. This doesn't exactly put the Jury in a good position does it? Can you imagine what the public would do to a jury who failed to convict these 2?

We don't know what evidence there is, only the police know that! and we all know how the police get it wrong all the time.

All these cases in recent years of people serving life sentences who have been acquited later, doesn't exactly inspire confidence in our police and legal system.

Maybe they should take their time more, and think thing's through before acting upon hunches and supposition.

I disagree.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to disagree at the time, seven years ago, instead of resurrecting a long-dead thread?

I didn't join until a year after and just wanted to add my thoughts.

i think we get a pretty good idea of where there's been a stitch up and where there hasn't. when some journalist with a bit of ambition decides they can get a scoop out of proving huntley innocent i'll think about reconsidering. (self-interest serving justice?)

blimeyThey was probs only about 10 members then :)

Anyway if he'd been killed when found guilty, he wouldn't ahve been in line to get 20 grand compo for being attacked the other day. Lucrative business being a paedo child killer, innit.

So you joined in 2004 and it took you six years to come to the conclusion that you 'disagree'?

The mind boggles.

I like to mull over my thoughts before posting.

I'll probably edit this post in 2018.

And I clicked on this thread thinking it would be about biscuits.

Oh no, that's Palmer not Carr, isn't it?

I think that there are plenty enough other threads discussing this topic already.

Closing.
