Everfink, the Goth and Alternative pub night will no longer be held at The Nelson.

We're sorting out a new home, aiming to go back to a more social pub atmosphere where people with funny hair and big footwear can sit and chat with a background of goth tunes.

Thanks to The Nelson for their support over the last 18 months.

Have you got anywhere in mind yet?

Definitely - that was the problem with the room we were moved to. It had always been more of a social than a club atmosphere and, nicely gothic as the downstairs bar is, just didn't fit the bill.

Well it seems the lovely new management at Sheffield Hallam are keen to help us, starting with a free festive Fink at Bar Phoenix at The HUBS on Friday 23rd of December from 9pm-2am.

This'll be an amazing night out with the Batfink DJs, party games, lots of special offers on drinks and the usual Fink sillyness.

I'll do a proper announcement on the forum as soon as we have the flyers done :D

Yup - we're hoping to make it a regular free event!

There's special offers on snakebite, draught real ale and bottles too so it should make for a cheap and fun night out.

I use to be banned from batfink and then i dont usually make it to Sheffield on a friday but on 23rd it's works do. Trust i'll be ok in a suit?? lol

Banned? I trust that was the venue rather than Team Batfink? We've certainly never banned anyone.

LOL, sorry should of explained. My x girlfriend banned me from going when she started seeing her new man.

By the time they split batfink came to an end!!! Sorry for the confusion!

I do have a friend who's wife banned him from Batfink when she found out it was full of girls in revealing outfits and he was spending half his wages buying them drinks!
