Hi ,
Just loking for some advice from local people in firth park. For someone about to start working at the Northern general hospital, Is renting close to the hospital a possibility and a good idea? The barnsley road ,Horninglow close and areas further down the barnsley road (towards the college being built) appear to be clean. Are these areas good for living? What are the rents like for a 2 bed room house/flat ?
Thanks in Advance

Hi

I moved from that area just under 2 years ago but at that time South Yorkshire Housing Association had several properties around the area you might wish to try them.

If it is any indication of the area I lived there for over 20 years, although it wasn't as good when I left but wasn't bad really we just wanted more privacy as we lived in a mid terraced house that didn't have a front garden and we needed a garage and more space.

Hope this helps.

Wendy
