We are wanting to buy an LCD T.V off the internet and have found some that are around £300 even up to £400 cheaper for the same one you buy at the shops!
Was wondering if anyone else had bought LCD T.V's off the internet and if they can recommend a good site to look at that we can trust, or if anyone has had any bad experiences.
Any advice or help would be appreciated, this is our Christmas treat.

I heard that there is a big ‘hoo haar’ ATM as electrical suppliers are over pricing goods to internet retailers. This means that in some cases high street retailers are actually cheaper than their internet counterparts.
It could be cheaper to go to someone like Richer Sounds and see what deals they have.
By the way, what size LCD are you looking to buy?
I've bought from here before - Internet prices but based in Sheffield so you can look before you buy

The one we have seen is a Sony KDLS40A12 32" HD ready and it has a built in Digital Tuner.

it's just Sony at the moment.
I'd recommend www.dabs.com it's an it store mainly, but they have well priced lcd tv's. I had a monitor that doubles as tv and it's great (and a great price).
If you're after an HD ready one they have a couple at just over £700, in 32".
Thanks Cyclone. I will check out everyones suggestions and let you all know if I find a good deal.
I once bought a TV from Empire Direct www.empiredirect.co.uk - competitive prices and decent service.
