We are planning on going camping between May and September and we need to get sleeping bags for us both and our 4 year old.
I've seen the gelert junior sleeping pod but I'm not sure if it will be warmer enough. I've no idea on what to get me and hubby, except that I would prefer a square bag and not a mummy style.
What sleeping bag do you use or would like to have?
We have Vango ones!
I cant comment on the one for me as its in the caravan at the moment, but the one my 3 year old is great.
Im sure its called a nitestar, It zips up both sides so easy to get them in and out, its mummy style and very very warm.
We spent all summer (and winter in August, lol) in a trailer tent and found that he was cosy and warm and some times he had the bag open as he was too warm!
When he gets bigger the bottom zips off and a extending part goes on, so this should last him for years.
I think this is it

looking at it again, thats the baby one!
The one we have has a zip to make it longer... My 10 year old niece fits well with the extension on!

It's a nitestar convertible!
Google vango convertible think it's changed name to

I camped last June and had this

cheap alternative as a sleeping bag but it was soooo cosy, as you are going up until september you might want to look for a higher gsm, the only con to this is that it's quite difficult to get in the bag (scrunch instead of roll) but honestly you can't go wrong with this if you are looking to pay less
EDIT: My mate had a vango one an she said she was impressed with it, think it was similar price to the argos one
if u have a army and navy store near you (there's one in Hillsborough) - i'd recommend a army sleeping bag - i still have mine, best in the world - can use it in arctic conditions (so perfect for Britain..lol )
