About 5yrs ago there was a shop right at the back (next to bingo) which used to sell sort of household 'junk' abit like mad harrys in hillsborough. I was just talking about it because our vase just broke which was £1.99 from there LOL
Just wondered what it was called at what was it before that? I cant remember and its driving me mad :hihi:

Glynn Webbs yeah that was it! sold all kinds of garbage. What was it before that? I also remember just as i moved near there next to the somerfield a kind of clothes factory?
B&M, godsake, why dont they try and fill it with nice shops rather than junk ones!

I think B&Q were on Kilner Way from early to mid 1970's.

Kilner Way started life as a quarry, digging out clay to make house bricks on site.
Hence the cliff face in the background.
The brickyard closed 40 years ago.

i think the place was called [ the trading post ]
glyn webb used to be a carpet shop, paul eyres i think it was called

Was it a carpet shop before Glynn Web? There was also a second hand furniture shop in the building where the Bingo is
think it was the carpet shop, second hand shop then glyn webb, i cant remember it being anything else
