View Full Version : Has The Odeon Cinema Shut Down?
I know some of you might know about this already and think I'm abit behind on the local news scene - but I've just heard from a friend that the Odeon in town has shut down.
I know this isn't really a huge blow to the town centre as it's usually just full of chavs, students and school waggers!
Anyone know? or can confirm this?
sniperwookie 20-11-2005, 15:19 No it hasn't. If you go on the Odeon website it's still listed as showing films.
Agent Gypo 20-11-2005, 15:27 Nay lad, tis still open. Some friends have gone there today to see Harry Potter.
Cheers guy's. Didn't know whether twas true or not.
I sort of knew it was abit too good to be true.

It isn't as nice as the out of town ones, but it is nice to be able to watch a film in the town centre.... not everyone has a car, and its not so far to walk into town for those of us who are boycotting First buses.

So walk into town and get on a tram. It stops right outside, and only takes 5 minutes to get there.
The odeon really needs demolishing, if you want to see a decent film in the city centre then go to the showroom.
boywunda 26-11-2005, 17:36 apparently they ARE planning to rebuild it and modernize it..thumbs up sezz i xxx
