*Peaches* 12-02-2011, 17:05 Hi Gill
Welcome to Doncaster :D
Jongo I have a double inflatable mattress if you want it on the floor in the living room. I also have a spare sofa and possibly a spare single bed if my Son goes to his Dads that weekend
A Doncaster meet on a Sheffield forum??
For me the 25th seems better as by the 4th bills would have taken my earnings :hihi:
What places are you thinking of going as I have not been to Doncaster for a while?
*Peaches* 12-02-2011, 19:12 I'm not sure yet, I've not been out in Doncaster for ages and I live here :hihi:
I will keep an eye on the thread then and see what's decided as the last time I had a drink in Doncaster was 2 years ago so the pubs may have changed and got rough since then.
*Peaches* 14-02-2011, 16:14 Most people have said 25th so I guess thats it then!
I'll edit the title
I am going but will be driving so I can be a taxi for a few in my little 308.
Right back to work!!!!!
LitleMermaid 15-02-2011, 09:49 That's my birthday! Have a drink for me, I will be in Scotland getting quietly wasted in front of a log fire :hihi: xxx
So far only 3 people have agreed to go is that right?

I may go but really need to know where you are going. I don't like to leave my home with my credit card as I end up spending too much. If it's just Wetherspoons then I won't fetch a lot but if clubbing is planned I'm going to give it a miss.
*Peaches* 15-02-2011, 19:09 Probably weatherspoons to start then onto silver street. Not fussy about trilogy etc I'd rather stay away from there
*Peaches* 20-02-2011, 23:44 Can anyone wanting to come thats travelling back to Sheffield please let me know so I can book the Mini bus/Taxi back
I visited Doncaster last weekend and the only decent Wetherspoons I found was Old Angel. It had music and a great atmosphere, the one behind it was full but was missing something and as far as I remember the one by the markets was like walking into a wake.
I found walkabout to be a little expensive but Doncaster has lots of pubs.
Which pub are we all meeting at, if I do come that is as I have another arrangement that day in relation to work.
*Peaches* 21-02-2011, 23:05 Old Angel is lovely, but Gatehouse is bigger thinking if lots of us come ...
That's true. Old Angel does have 2 floors though.
Hopefully I will see you there but as mentioned I do have arrangements that day so I may not make it, but it appears that there is a few meets and they happen regular so I will see you all eventually.
*Peaches* 23-02-2011, 10:08 We've now decided a few drinks in town then somewhere to eat then more drinks
I thought on a Friday it was meant to be drinks - drinks then food?
If I can get out then I'll head straight to Gatehouse for around 8:30>9:00 so if you aren't there where will you be headed to?
I won't know the plan until Friday afternoon.
*Peaches* 23-02-2011, 15:48 I can't see us getting gone for food before 9pm, I'll post on here what Restaurant we're heading to once everyone's agreed :hihi:
great band on at regents hotel in doncaster tonight
acoustic angels...........ask jongo how good they are
*Peaches* 25-02-2011, 11:18 Thanks for that Shaz, might be worth a look
I'm not going on this, but I can thoroughly recommend Accoustic Angels. John Reilly (also of Boy on a Dolphin - a great band) is excellent.
Hope you all have a good time.
