The older i'm getting, the more i dislike going to town for a night out. There was a time when i would be in town on a thursday, friday and saturday night, without fail. Now, it doesn't bother me. Most of my mates still go to town on a weekend, and stare at all the ladies. I feel intimidated to be honest when in town bars. i would much rather go to the local. So, whats your opinion. Town, or local?

Depends on the occassion. If its just a quiet with a few friends, the local will do, where as if its more of a celebration, maybe someones birthday, we usually go into town and find somewhere a little more exiting.

Both, tends to be town Friday/Saturday, local the rest of the time.
Though there are those 'just meeting for weekday coffees' that turn into pub crawls (I blame officegirl!!!!)
