I'm thinking of changing my supplier ( Powergen ) and wondered who are offering the cheapest deal at the moment. I don't have gas and my phone supplier is telewest.

Oh dear... stand by for the tirade of salesmen.. :hihi: munky 19-11-2005, 17:38 I ain't no salesman, however I maybe able to provide a bit of insight. . Look at all the companies advertising on tele. . it costs a mint to advertise on prime time tele and part of this cost will be passed to you if you go with em. Scottish power are one of the few that don't advertise, mainly because they don't need to. My friend reffered me to em and I can't fault the fact i get gas and leccy for about £40 a month rather than being savaged by Npower for £160 a quarter and British gas for £155 a quarter. Once I switched, I found out a few other friends were already with them, and my parents and grandparents. . Hope this information helps. LL200 19-11-2005, 20:36 please dont forget to consider the 'green' electricity suppliers, such as GoodEnergy (consider this a recommendation). any electricity you use is put back into the national grid from 100% renewable sources. you pay more, there's no denying it, but its not as much extra as you may think. www.uswitch.com is very useful for comparing electricity companies and you can specify that you are only interested in 'green' companies. |
