no 2 seaters AFAIK. There will be a 2 seater merc coming out with a twin turbo diesel, faster than most petrol sports cars, but unfortunately costs more than most of them too. Still returns 35MPG whilst doing <5s 0 - 60 though.

The Mercedes SLK 320 CDI tri-turbo and SL 400 CDI bi-turbo are on the way it's true, but I assumed Craig7777 was looking for a real-world convertible and not a £50k+ car.

you've got to have a target to aim for. Anyway at 50 thousand dollars i'd be having one, suspect you might have meant £.

Sorry, yes, pounds. The keyboard I'm using doesn't have a £ sign (I have to create one as if by magic). ;)

I've had a 206cc and I now have a 307cc - neither are available in diesel (unless a recent release has been released).

If the 307cc would have been available in diesel, I would have had one.

My 307cc is great, I love it, but the consumption is terrible - although my wife works in Leeds and travels 4 times weekly from Barnsly - we put nearly £100 per week in petrol in.

I'm planning on selling it come Spring (I want a twin-cab truck!)

Well spotted. You seldom see them, but I forgot these convertibles are also available in diesel (Sport 1.6 HDi 110 & HDi 136).

Not only does it go further, but it also has no relevance to the OP ;)
