I would.

I trust you have another PC to access SF on, or it'll be a long wait till that condensation clears..... :o

Calor gas heaters are known for causing condensation.....and also they give off carbon monoxide fumes, which is why you should only use one in a well ventilated area.

Surely a well ventilated area would (today) also be a very cold one!?

In perfect situations:-

CH4 + 202 = CO2 +2H2O

Ideally Carbon Dioxide is produced but Carbon monoxide occurs when the combustion is incomplete e.g insufficient air.

Slight variations for propane etc, but in the end the water has to go somewhere!

It will fancy the coldest surface, which is your screen, until that warms up.

Bit like getting your car clear of frost and then the moisture from breath condensing / freezing on the windscreen inside as everyone inside chats while you freeze your nuts off outside.

Kirky have you thought about an oiled filled panel radiator for your conservatory you dont get any condensation they are cheap to run as well we just turn ours low at night and leave it on.

Blood and sand, Kirky, it must be pretty chilly in there.

I'd be equally concerned about the temperature cycling of the hard disc? Any experts out there?

Years ago this was something of a problem when PCs were left in very cold offices, etc. overnight.

Its not good for the parts. They need to be kept room temp or a few degrees lower
