OK, not quite an advert, but I bought some shower cleaner from Tesco and on the directions it said 'clean shower thoroughly before use'

Now to me, that just doesn't seem fair!

You cant use it on copper (http://www.zen32916.zen.co.uk/BANG/zoomin.jpg)

So you arent supposed to use it on pennies anyway :)

Any ideas what i could use to clean my change instead (should i wish). Kim and Aggie from 'how clean is your house' would probably recommend vinegar, but i need that for my chips:D

When you watched the advert and saw him dip it in the cillit bang - did you notice the small print saying 'actual time 3 minutes'?

My thourough testing revealed it was more like 5 minutes, but it did work. (Was drunk at the time - its not what I do for fun!)

yeah i have had this problem yesterdaY Tbh!!!

my sons birthday yesterday we bought him a yu gi oh duel disk thingy ma bob.

anyway it said it was electronic i thought wow he will love that lights and sounds and such

what a total crock of s**t!!!

it was £30 and all it did was when you pressed this button some lights lit up on the front and they didnt stay on either as soon as u let go of the button they went off!!!

my son still loves it and doesnt really care that it doesnt make a noise and such but i do!!!

i reckon they stuck the word electronic on the box so we all think theres more to it than there actually is so we dont mind paying the daft price for it!!!!!

ok rant over......phew i feel better!

not sure it is quite the same thing.. but:

It says on the top of a packet of seabrook crisps, 'more than a snack'. so we phoned teir customer services to see why this was.. apparently it is because there is more in a bag which seemed a reasonable statement..

ony a little confused with that one now as so far seabrook crisps have had the lowest weight on the bag out of all the ones we have seen since.. perhaps they are just very big light crisps? :suspect:

Budweiser.

It isn't

It isn't made with saarz hops, it has rice as one of it's constituents it has no flavour, and it isn't made in the Czech Republic where much of the best lager beer is made and where the word Budweiser comes from.

Coca Cola (full fat) should bring your small change up a treat. Just leave it to soak.

Heres another example, according to their literature - nothing sucks like a Dyson. Well not mine, the dust bag's full

Although a worthy concern, doesn't unite the whole of sheffield.

So let me see if I understand this correctly...

If Cillit BANG should not be used on these things (http://www.zen32916.zen.co.uk/BANG/zoomin.jpg) what can we use it on? Any ideas?

The Czech drink I am sure you're talking about is Budvar. This is nothing to do with the American Budweiser company, but is a true actual "Budweiser Beer"

Indeed it should really be called Budweiser but the American multinational is too powerful and has apparently taken over that word as a world wide trademark.

It's just another example of capitalism gone mad, where a poor quality product is using the reputaion of a great traditional and regional product which has existed for generations.

Budweiser should be made to change their beer to another name, e.g. "bland rice/beer drink with no flavour which must be served extremely cold so you don't notice the lack of taste".

Products Claims that are untrue ?

All those shampoo ads. With those girls shaking their silky tresses about.

Over the years I have probably tried them all. And I still have the same mad wavy hair.

I never look like I have just stepped out of a salon unless I have but that's probably because I am not worth it.
