Had a look in Virgin whilst hitting the fairway on Tiger Woods 2006 <- Great game!
The graphics on the new XBox looked realy sharp and clear. Not sure what the game play is gonna be like though.
Finally got a go today and it plays brilliant. Cod plays sooo much better on that than it does on my pc. Gonna have to save for a while me thinks.

I haven't had a go yet, there's an event on in the Light centre in Leeds apparently this weekend where you can play on an Xbox 360.
But I'm getting one for Christmas anyway.

So whats the story with the screen res on the xbox360? Is it still TV resolution or can you increase it?? The xbox looks crap on my video projector compared to the computer, is the 360 going to be higher resolution?
I know nowt about consoles.

720 dpi apparently.
Yeah played a couple of different games (I forget which) on demo stands and wasn't that impressed to be honest.
It's not bad - and it's certainly a good improvement on what's out there now, but I would argue (IMHO) it's not what I would call "next-gen".
It's good enough - and I'm sure it will sell well with those who can't wait until the PS3 (or want something to have in meantime), not to mention all the xbox fanboys... but personally I'll be waiting for the first real next-gen console, when the PS3 comes out.
