i want to play black and white but i have xp pro
does anyone know where to get the patch
for me to play it

Some people have reported success using the 1.3 patch, and running the game in WIN98 compatability mode.

I bought this also, but havent been able to get it to work under xp. Just dug it out of the cupboard, and tried what "LesMcQueen" suggested.
but it still wont work on my xp pro machine.
It shows the splash screen and then disapears. but "RUNBLACK.EXE" is still in my task manager.
does anyone know how to work it with xp?

Bizarre, works fine for me... XP with SP2, Black & White 1.1 patch.

First time I installed it the sound was buggy & I had to tweak some quality settings down in Control panel, but since I re-installed Windows the other week it's working beautifully...

Same here...works fine from the box.
