I don't know if anyone has recieved one of these. They are seemingly an official letter from the local social services telling you that you have been allocated your very own asian family.

it goes a little something like this

The Homeless Asians ASsociation In association with your local council

Dear (my husbands name was here),

Due to the increasing number of Asian families in your area we have arranged with various councils to allocate asian families in part empty or private houses in your area.

We have been informed that you have a spare room in your house. Therefore we have allocated you with an Asian family of five who will stay in your spare room. Whilst the Ghandi family is with you, we will pay you an allowance of £21.40 per head per month for their keep.

Introduction to the family will be made at Manchester airport when you pick them up on their arrival day. In the meantime here is a list of their names and some information, which I think You should know in advance.

The grandmother Sandi Ghandi is 72, the mother and father Mhandi and Rhandi Ghandi are both 49. The children Bandai and Andi Phandi Ghandi are 13 and 3 respectively. Also arriving the families pet goose Ghoosi Ghoose Ghandi, we recommend that you hire a mini bus rather than make several trips to the airport, particularly as Mhandi Ghandi is 7 months pregnant with twins.

You can expect deliveries of rice and tins of curry powder (cash on delivery) to arrive two days before the Ghandi family arrives in the UK.

They must be allowed to use your kitchen and bathroom.

Finally we will send you a two hour video encouraging you to adjust to Asian culture. The first hour includes the Ghandi Williams Shows, **** my lin, Packanory, Ghandiversity Challenge and Curry Nation Street. The second hour includes useful hints on running a corner shop and making a s**** smell.

I do hope that they will bring you joy and happiness to your home. If I can be of any assistance during the settling period, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you so much for your co-operation in this matter.

Yours Sincerely

Josh Rogan (Mr)
Housing Manager

I took a bit of reading to understand the full implications of this letter :o

You are kidding right?
it could be someone at social services who's getting laid off playing around:rolleyes:

I am not kidding at all - I will scan the letter in when my husband brings it back.

You can tell it is a photocopy of the social services letterhead, but at first glance everything is official.

Question is who is behind such an expensive prank? And how are the social services dealing with the phone calls?

It had better not be anyone from social services, even if they are just messing around. What a filthy little piece of c**p that letter is. Try as it might, it's certainly not in the least bit amusing. Sounds like some kind of NF/BNP propaganda to me. I reckon you should hand a copy to social services immediately, and one to the police. It's a hate campaign with a twist, that's all.

There are clearly some real muppets in the social services admin department.

We got a letter a few weeks back that was clearly intended for somebody else, with their bank details and everything.

well this letter addressed my husband by his name - for obvious reasons I haven't filled this in

You can find out the name and address of anyone and everyone in the street from the electoral register, which is freely available

It is a BNP scam I would think

I should put money on it in fact
