Has anyone seen this new quiz-type programme at 6pm on BBC 2? It's a televisual version of a game called 'Mafia', that involves 2 traitors amoung a group of innocent people. The group have to work out who the traitors are in a bid to win £5000. At first I was gutted that the Simpsons had been replaced by something that looked so lame, but I thought I'd stay tuned anyway. Now I'm hooked on the show, it's the highlight of my day. It's really interesting to see the way that people play the game, and it has you yelling at the telly when it seems so obvious who the traitors are.
If you havn't seen it, I recommend you watch it. It's compelling TV.

6pm bbc2? isnt that simpson's time? :-(
No, as I said, this new show has replaced the Simpsons, but trust me it's worth it. Especially since all the Simpsons' are repeats anyway.

Although 'traitor' is quite good, I don't like the presentation and the Simpsons keeps me sane during the week... so I'd have rather they put it on at, say, 6.25 instead!!!

What's happened to traitor??? I'm hooked after a week & now they've taken it off of me. Have they used last week as a pilot run? It's an intriguing programme to watch if you like to think you can read peoples reactions.
Bring it back!
I'm assuming last week was a pilot run, and I'm also guessing that people don't get too happy if the Simpsons is put off for a while. I'm going to email the BBC to find out if there's any plans to make more Traitors, I will reply here if I get a response.
Shock horror, they replied. I'm impressed by the speed of the reply too. Here's what they said:

I saw the Traitor programme that was broardcast last week and I thought
it was an exceptional programme. It was very exciting and had me hooked
from the start. Can you tell me if there are any plans to make any more
episodes of this excellent gameshow?

Dear Simon
Thank you for your e-mail regarding 'Traitor'.
I was very pleased to read that you have enjoyed this particular programme so much.
Currently there are no plans to make another series, however I will register your interest on our daily log for the attention of our schedulers and programme makers. We appreciate all listener and viewer feedback, especially when it is as positive as your own.
Once again, thank you for taking the time to contact the BBC.
Regards
Marilyn Foster

Well the Simpsons are being bought by Channel four for muchos money, so they shouldn't be interrupted as much in future :) Apart from there'll be adverts :( But more new episodes.
Anyways, I refused to watch Traitor as a protest for it's scheduling time. I would have given it a go if it was on at another time, but I'd only just got over tsnooker displacing the Simpsons.
