Any1 go to Niche nite club in sheffield?? Need more funky house clubs in Sheffield not many around, just Zero on a friday nite. If your into funky house and yu want to go to a wicked gig this saturday nite theres "Big Ang" "V" "Jamie Fergusion" in Leeds from Reflex records.....now that should be a PHAAAAT nite. Theres also Casalocos in Leeds that playz same choonez as Niche. Anyone kno any more places local like Wakefield,Leeds, Bradford etc that play funky house???????

There's loads of house in Sheffield, you can probably manage one every night to be honest.

i used to be a regular up to a few weeks ago when they changed the opening times,now they shut a 5am i don't bother much,i don't get finished at our place till around 2am so i aint payin a tenner for 3 hours,i just stop in our function room with a few mates and play the tunes mi sen.

Saturday Nights at Takapuna (although only open till 1am) Funky House all night long.

Friday Nights at the Fez Cub - Pin Ups night 'Funky US House' open till 2.30am - 3am.

Both EXCELLENT nights!

Well 'Forum Monkey' I believe Sunday Sessions still exist at Takapuna, however I think it's less intense these days. Lack of promotion and all that.

Check out Friday nights at the Fez club. I was there last week after work and the place was rockin!

yeah dats tru bout the opening timez. i used to go in at 3am and stay till bout 8am, i cant do that now...and i gota admit it isnt the same in der now. baxendale is sellin niche innit??? hes got that table dancing club on attercliffe now...i hope who ever buys niche keeps it a club....watta ya fink??

Bax aint selling Niche really. It'll continue for a while yet as its the only late nite club in Sheffield!!

Surely there's a market for other clubs til 5am??

there are few clubs with 6ams now..........crasher doesnt tend to use there 6am anymore.........zero only use it for planet zogg.....and the arches for headcharge. the problem with late licences are the people it attracts.

Thank god for the late clubs or some people whouldnt have a social life. I go to Niche and I used to stay till 9am when it was open...and i dont take drugs or even drink!!!!!! So what you trying to say? That im "That kind of person" just because i go out all night?

Sunny, Niche music can be catogorised into many different names.....try these...... Speed garage, underground house, uplifting house!! Also try the reflex records website them who do Zero on a friday night they mite have some info as they are a record shop which sells that kind of music.

It's not funky house, never has been and never will be - it's speed garage.

Mind you funky house isn't funky house either - it's US (Chicago) house and french house.
