Does anyone know the name of the company that run the Black Cabs in Sheffield?

I think that I lost a bus pass with a fair amount of money in it, in one but dont know who to call to get it back.

Maybe they do have a lost property box but unfortunately not all people hand stuff in..

No doubt someone got in a cab and picked it up and 'forgot' to hand it to the driver.

Did feel like I'd been cheated (not sure if thats the word I'm lookin for) a bit...

especially the fact that the woman on the other end of the phone didn't even want to know what I had lost or what my name/no is.

But it looks like I won't be getting it back anyway.

They are not ALL bad you know....I left my mobile phone on the back seat of a taxi one late saturday night (being rather drunk) and only realized it was missing when my home phone was ringing in the morning.....it was a taxi driver who had found it and had got my home number off it (under HOME) and actually bothered to ring me up and tell me he had it. Collected it from him at the station taxi rank later that day.......

I wasn't saying that they're all the same.

Just had no luck today.

Was my own fault that I lost it in the first place really.


On a seperate note.
I know about that story, I came across that post on google when i typed in 'black cabs' trying to find a contact number.
In fact that post was what made me sign up to Sheffield Forum to see if I could get the same results.
