one of the main attraction of going abroad (spain in our case) was the cheap accomodation and of course the cheap booze and meals out.in my opinion since they started using the euro its not really any cheaper than here.the mrs suggested we try croatia this year but i don't know anyone thats been so i,m a bit iffy about trying it out,anyone ever been there or got any suggestions on other places?

go to marmaris in turkey...its cheap, good weather, good shopping (if you don't mind bartering)

I know its spain, but try salou on the costa dorada... It's great! It has a theme park and a water park and a fabulous beach!!!
