I need to pick all of your brains, for juicy information goodness.
A mate of mine is coming up to visit this w/e. He's going to arrive a bit before 11PM tonight. We fancied going out on the town and making something of the evening, and I want to show him what Sheffield has got to offer.
He's a 6ft 6" goth bloke. Batfink at club aqua is about right for him, but it's not on this week (is it?). I'm more of a punk m'self.
I know there's corporation for your standard rock night in the main room, but do we have any other options?
Where can we find late-licence rock-related fun on a Friday?

The Nelson has started a goth night to kind of replace Batfink two Fridays a month but i dont think there is one tonight. Not 100% sure.

Thanks Rob. I thought that might be the case.
Shame, 'cos the Voodoo Glow Skulls are on at Under the Dove and Rainbow tonight and I fancied going, but I'll miss meeting my friend if I go there.
Good mate wins over skanking the evening away.
I'm sure Corp will be fun if we end up there.
I always manage to have a good time at corp but then again i only go saturdays. Suppose i'm simple but as long as i can get drunk, get laid (though thats been a while:evil: ) and do some :headbang: i'm happy!!!

corp on fri has gone a bit downhill now, very emo, saturdays are better..
havent been to corp for a good while, but its always been fantastic when i have gone :)

Not quite started at The Nelson, Everfink is just resident there as it has been for over a year. We've just moved it to 1st and 3rd Friday of the month so we can be in the downstairs bar! :D
There wasn't one last night but there is next week from 7.30.
