View Full Version : Eastenders last night Rook 11-11-2005, 10:25 Just had to say... Cheese McFest :gag: It was painful *Ryan* 11-11-2005, 11:15 why? what happened, tell me please i missed it, Carmine 11-11-2005, 11:19 No more Chrissy? What's the point of that? All the other women on the show look like someone tried to put out a fire on their faces with a pickaxe handle!:gag: Clare85 11-11-2005, 11:58 My mother was disappointed that Chrissie has gone. The end of it just spoiled the whole episode and now it will continue going downhill. Carmine 11-11-2005, 12:03 I still fail to see how bringing back the most talentless actors ever to work on the show will help its fortunes. Remember how bad they were before they b*ggered off? Well now they're back, and worse than ever!:loopy:  :help: Clare85 11-11-2005, 12:12 Which ones are you talking about Carmine, because I really don't think Grant and Phil are bad actors at all. But the jokes/body language/script they have had over the past couple of weeks have made them look slightly ridiculous. Phil I can just about stand as he does the broken-down former hardman bit quite well (before he turns red!). But Grant just comes across as a pop-eyed clown! And Barbara Windsor has never had anything that resembled talent. So to see her in a role like that of Peggy Mitchell is somewhat akin to casting Joe Pasquale as Oscar Shindler. :hihi: Macca 11-11-2005, 12:26 Originally posted by Carmine And Barbara Windsor has never had anything that resembled talent. SpiderPete 11-11-2005, 12:28 Now that Grant has gone, I wont be watching it anymore... until he comes back... Chrissie .. yes she has gone, a bad actrress as well (well thats my view) Carmine 11-11-2005, 12:31 Originally posted by liencam I think you think you might be holding Eastenders in too high a regard mate!!! I hold it in the deepest contempt possible!!! I just think that what the writers had in mind was an overbearing and very strong matriarch, what they got was a squaking travesty with a voice like metal scraping against metal! *Ryan* 11-11-2005, 12:31 Originally posted by peter41 Now that Grant has gone, I wont be watching it anymore... until he comes back... A complete spud. But then that is a different story altogether. SpiderPete 11-11-2005, 12:33 posted by Ryan123 more than likely the ratings will go back down now.. I am sure if that happens they will bring someone back again, although they are running out of people..;) *Ryan* 11-11-2005, 12:39 Originally posted by peter41 I am sure if that happens they will bring someone back again, although they are running out of people..;) indeed, probs the best thyve got is robbies dog.. or Bianca... Riiiiiickay Clare85 11-11-2005, 12:45 Ryan, Wellard is still in the show, is he not??? But let me just tell you all, apparently he pegs it soon as well....which could lead to Robbie, Carol and Alans return for the funeral. And that little kid...is he called Billy or something. Lea1979 11-11-2005, 13:59 If you watch Eastenders taken with a pinch of salt and a light sprinkling of humour, as I do, its one of the funniest programmes on TV :D And excellent for many p*** taking opportunities. My Kat Slater impression is brill even if I do say so myself :D :D |
